Go Connect – Answer calls from your desktop

When a call comes in, a box will flash up in the corner of your PC screen which will allow you to view the number calling and the location of the call. If you have added the number to the built in directory, the call will show as a contact and company name allowing you to quickly and efficiently recognise who the call belongs to. It takes under 5 seconds to add an unrecognised name and number to your directory making the entire process seamless and easy to use.

Go Connect – Dial from Desktop Feature

Rather than remembering numbers and writing things down, Go Connect now allows you to simply click and dial a number from the internet, outlook or pretty much any other application with ease and instantly dial it from your handset. The whole process is again seamless and once connected, you can then add the caller to the shared address book for future use.

Simply find the contact you would like to get in touch with via either the internet or your application and the text will be highlighted and ready for you to click.  Panasonic Go Connect will then connect via Panasonic NS700 integrated CTI to dial the number on your extension.  YBC Telecom can also setup Go Connect Software on your behalf for each user so you never have to worry about configuration.

Instant Messaging Between Staff Members

Go Connect – Instant Messaging Between Staff

Go Connect also allows you to communicate via instant messaging with other Go Connect users on your Telephone System. This is often a less intrusive and easier method of leaving your colleagues messages and messages are instantly displayed on the screen.

If you are on the phone you will be able to see any instant message well, instantly ! and react in the fastest possible time to customer calls.  If there is a phone number within the message, it will also be linked so that when you click it, you can dial the customer directly off your phone without any fuss.

Go Connect – Built in Address Book

What we think is the best feature of Go Connect is it’s built in address book that allows you to store and instantly recall an unlimited amount of contacts that you may have built up over a long period of time.

Go Connect allows you to filter the search by name, area code or full telephone number to locate the person or company you are trying to reach and with one click of your mouse and you can then dial this contact directly off your Panasonic Handset.

This feature is an absolute must for any Telephone System user and it is exclusive to Panasonic Telephone Systems.

Go Connect – Call History Tool

Another extremely useful feature built into Go Connect is the recent call history tool which allows you to view, and call back Dialled, Received or Missed calls.

The feature is very flexible and allows you to filter by direction, whether the call was answered or not and also whether the call was made within the office to another member of staff or whether the call was connected to the outside world. You can even go one step further if required and specify how long the call lasted or the time it was made to make it simple to find that number you absolutely have to call back.

Go Connect – Real Time Presence

Users are able to show and view their availability from Go Connect directly onto the PC of all other users so staff members always know whether or not colleagues are available or busy on another telephone call.

Go Connect also allows you to set your availability to Free, In a Meeting or Out of Office and if required, set a redirection of their extension number to a mobile phone or to another colleague. This feature normally requires telephone programming to complete but this is now a thing of the past with Go Connect.
